Senior Project Manager - Gothenburg Do you want to lead complex development projects in an international environment? We are now looking for a Senior Project Manager for a global technology company with development, production and sales on several continents. The company develops advanced components and systems for customers in medical technology, industry, analysis and telecom, where high demands are placed on quality, precision and reliability. We are looking for someone who combines solid project management experience with a technical background in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar areas. About the position As a Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for running customized development projects throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility study and planning to industrialization and final delivery. The projects vary in scope and complexity and often include several internal functions as well as international collaborations. You lead cross-functional teams and work closely together with development, quality, purchasing, production and sales to ensure that projects are delivered according to set goals for time, cost and quality. The role also involves close collaboration with customers where you act as the project's natural point of contact. Your responsibilities Lead and coordinate international and cross-functional project teams. Plan, control and follow up on the implementation of projects. Ensure that projects are delivered according to set goals for quality, cost and time. Responsible for project communication and reporting to customers and management. Manage risks, changes, and priorities throughout the different phases of the project. Drive continuous improvements in project processes and working methods. Build strong relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders. Your profile To succeed in the role, we believe that you have experience of leading complex engineering or development projects in an international environment. You are a confident project manager who creates structure, builds trust and gets people to work towards common goals. As a person, you are committed, analytical and solution oriented. You easily collaborate with people from different cultures and are driven by creating results together with others. We would like you to have experience from product development industrial companies and a good understanding of mechanical or electrical systems. If you have worked with technical products in, for example, cooling and temperature solutions, thermal systems, process equipment, medical technology or other advanced industrial technology, it is an advantage. We would like you to have: A university or master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a related technical field. Several years of experience in project management in industrial operations. Experience of working with product development or technically complex products. Ability to lead cross-functional and global teams. Experience of running several projects in parallel. Project management certification, such as PMP or equivalent, is strongly preferred Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
