On behalf of a partner company, Nordic Investin is looking for a PMO Lead. You make governance lighter by making it useful, giving leaders a reliable view of the portfolio without creating reporting theatre. The partner is strengthening oversight across a growing project portfolio. You will create common planning and reporting standards, improve prioritisation and help project leaders surface risks, dependencies and capacity constraints in time for decisions. Projects are judged by operational outcomes, benefit ownership and the quality of decisions made along the way. Governance should create clarity and momentum while making risk visible early enough for meaningful action. How you will work You will create a practical delivery rhythm across workstreams with different owners and incentives. The partner expects concise preparation, explicit dependencies and decisions recorded clearly enough to survive handovers. Escalation should bring options and consequences, not only a problem statement. This is a leadership role with responsibility for direction, governance and the capability of others. You will create enough structure for teams to move independently while stepping into detail when risk or ambiguity demands it. The partner wants visible ownership without unnecessary hierarchy. What you will do Establish portfolio governance, cadence and decision material. Create consistent status, risk and milestone reporting. Support prioritisation across value, risk and capacity. Coach project managers in planning and delivery discipline. Identify portfolio dependencies and systemic delivery issues. Maintain a clear view of financials, benefits and resource demand. What you will bring Substantial PMO, portfolio or programme management experience. Strong analytical and executive reporting capability. Ability to simplify governance without losing control. Experience with portfolio prioritisation and resource planning. Confidence challenging incomplete or optimistic reporting. Professional English and excellent written synthesis. Experience that would add value Portfolio management tools and data visualisation. Transformation or investment governance. Team leadership and project manager development. A background that can succeed here You may have led a PMO, managed a complex programme or built portfolio reporting in finance or strategy. The strongest fit will understand what executives need to decide, what delivery teams can reasonably maintain and how to connect the two. You will help strong projects move faster and expose weak assumptions before they become expensive.
