Electronics Engineer for Fixed Cameras Introduction At Axis Communications we are passionate about innovating tomorrow's solutions for a smarter and safer world. We are now looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our Fixed Camera & Radar Product Development Unit at Axis HQ in Lund, Sweden. Who is your future team You will be a part of our camera product electronics team, together with a dozen colleagues. In our organization we also have an electronics radar team, and in all we are a group of twenty engineers. The role With each new generation of our network cameras, we are upgrading our camera sensors and all the rest of the system solutions towards breathtaking performances. In our product development team, you will take responsibility for the design, development, verification and certification of electronics solutions in our products. What you will do You will work with camera electronics design & development; from concept development all the way to volume production. We contribute to reference design development, for the benefit of several departments, and that will also be part of your tasks. You will simulate and develop designs, and you will verify and validate the solution. You will take part in cross functional project teams with other competence categories like software, mechanics, and product management. You will collaborate with many camera teams in the company as well as the core technology departments. Externally, you will work with suppliers, test houses and our EMS partners (production) together with our operations organization. Now and then you will also meet our customers. Therefore, we believe you are a team player with an open and generous attitude fueled by high personal ambitions. To qualify for the position, you have: A MSc or BSc degree in electronics. Some years of working experience after graduation (preferably 3-5). Experience in hands-on PCBA prototyping, and verifications of electronics using such as oscilloscopes. Experience in product development from conceptual design through to certifications and volume production. It is meriting to: Having worked in multi-discipline, prototype-driven development projects (electronics-mechanics-software…). Having worked with test houses, certifications and production aspects. Having knowledge in aspects around such as Power-over-Ethernet, high-speed communication, and Electro Magnetic Compatibility.
